A leased line is a dedicated line connecting one or more of your offices to the Internet or each other. The line is permanently available as opposed to analogue or ISDN lines.

As leased lines are offered at a fixed annual cost and have no additional telephone call charges they can offer economies over an ISDN account as well as faster data transfer speeds.

If you have multiple offices these can be connected using Leased line connections and a Private Network created. This will allow your offices to share resources securely as if they were within the same building. These connections can be delivered with or without Internet access.

The installation and subsequent rental costs of a Leased Line is dependant on the distance between the two ends of the circuit. For Internet serving Leased Lines this will be the distance to our nearest Point-of-Presence. For Point-to-point circuits it is the distance between the two sites.
